Thank you.  Your efforts make this a possible carry option.

How much was removed?

I measured the remaining material depth, and it's .405", so still very stout. In comparison, my Glock is .140". Now, this only works for guns with full frame dust shields, as has the Witness P Compact, but I'm sure you already figured that part out.

Is the spring pocket that you discuss on the slide close to the end? How much was removed?
Thanks, Nelson

So, the polymer carry (3.6" barrel, 14 round mag) operates better than the polymer compact (3.6" barrel, 12 round mag)? Or is it just with the 9 round mag.  I thought about buying the compact model.

Reloading 10mm ammo / .40/10mm case gauge

Is it ok to use a .40 case gauge for 10mm?  I have the EGW model that has 9mm, 38 super, .40 and 45 acp
Obviously the length is different which I verify with calipers.  Is the case gauge mainly for size/diameter of the case and/or length also?
It's not a problem to buy specific 10mm gauge, just thought I would ask.
Thanks, Nelson

I have the Tripps 9 round 10mm magazines.  They worked in my Kimber 10mm with no problems.  They are a little expensive but may be worth it not having to wonder if they will work.  Nice write up.  I had the same pistol with the rail, sold it to a friend's friend.  Just purchased another with out the rail today.

Looks good.  Should have skipped work.  Give us a detailed report on fit and how that barrel looks.

Well, Brent just replied to the other forum thread - no barrel change but ejection port is lowered and flared.  Not what we wanted to hear.

When is it scheduled to arrive?  Let us know if the barrel has changed, and of course pics are required.

If you would quit going to work and skip the family stuff this project could probably be completed  :)   :)
Keep up the good work, patiently waiting...
