full length guide rods in all 5 of my 1911's, common sense tells me that it keeps the spring in line and compresses equally. JMO

because the 40 has more power, I have the barrel but waiting for my 10rd magazines from rock your glock, the 13rd magazines will not feed the ammo correctly.
