I don't get the Glock remarks. It seems, to me, that the Glock did exactly what it was supposed to do to protect the shooter from harm. IMO, I am extremely impressed at how well the Glock handled the failure. The failure was all about the ammo. I may need to rethink owning a Glock because of what I saw here.

I also only have 1 but I love it. It's the S&W 1086. DAO which means no decocker or safety. That give it clean lines, which I like.

I'm going to enjoy feeding the guns I already have. The price of food (ammo) should remain steady, or even get cheaper, the next few years. This will be a great time for gun owners except in the states that decided to suppress the rights of the gun crowd. Somehow we need to reverse those laws that are restricting our rights at the state level. I believe that if we can get back those lost rights then the next 4 years is the best time to get it done. It's time for the NRA to help these states because the national battle is done, for the time being.

Putting an upper onto a lower is not rocket science and is needed to do to maintain your AR.

Since only 1660 were made I'd put the value of LNIB north of $1000. If selling on Gunbroker with nice pictures I bet it could fetch $1200. If my memory serves me right, 2 LNIB with all the toys, papers and box went for $1600 a few months ago.

My only concern would be the battering the lighter and shorter (length) frame would take from the 10mm round. I have built a full sized steel frame 1911 in 10mm and I have seen no issues but the alloy frame would concern me.
