I understand it's not a competition gun, but the same thing applies if you're going to draw it quickly in any stressful situation. An ND sucks anywhere, but especially in the woods alone.

I'm glad you like the holster. I just want to warn about the combination of a red dot and the holster hood. In a 2-gun competition a couple years ago I witnessed an experienced shooter with that combo get the red dot caught on the hood. He struggled with it for a few seconds then sent an ND into his thigh. Not great. Luckily it wasn't a a JHP, and it didn't exit but I don't really know the outcome after the perimedics came.

For a pistol with an optic and retention I'd instead look into alternatives like the GLS, which is what I use for competition.
