I pulled the trigger (pun intended). and I could not be happier. the Fit is amazing for a sub $700 pistol. in fact the trigger and fitment rival my Sig C3 1911.

if you had dies made, even if you don't shoot much, you could start a business in selling hand loads to other users. for me, I'm not that interested. for 2 grand I'll have a 10mm commander built

took her to the range send 40 rounds down. she bites when she recoils. it was strong enough that I did not want to try one handed but i may tomorrow.
the nie hing is there were no hiccups at all so I'm good with using it as a replacement for the witness.

Plus 1 on Sig's service. I handed my C3 to a local smith, and he said due to what i wanted done, and the aluminum frame, he would send it to sig.  Now this is an older C3, mind you, and they repaired the weapon and added new grips for nothing. I paid the smith the cost of shipping, that's all

I misread this thread and thought the 3.8 was being discontinued. So I hunted and found one and bought it. when i was talking to the LGS owner he said there were only 2 more at his distributor. I wonder if SA is getting out of 10mm altogether?

and Springfield is running the gear up promo, so i should be getting 3 more mags and the range bag.

I love my Remington R-1 in .45. I would seriously consider another in 10. What I WANT is a Commander in 10 to add to my carry rotation.

I hope you do not mind a slight hijack of the thread. my witness seems to misfire 2-3 rounds every magazine. when laoded the mag drops about 1/8 to 3/16 of an inch. I'm thinking this is causing the misfeeds.


assuming i am correct is there an adjustment to the mag release that can lock it up?
any advice appreciated

well that sux. it was my next buy. i was looking for a 10mm 1911, saw a Sig M-11 and pounced on that. the classic Sigs are as scarce as a cat in a dog pound

hi From Florida. I have several Sigs, but my 10mm is an ornery EAAwitness. i'm looking forward to learning more about platforms for the 10mm. I have my eye on a couple. hopefully I will be able to decide yea or nay before spending hundreds on what could be (another) paperweight
