Hello everybody. I'm kinda new here and I hope to get to know some of you. As per your question, I have a S&W 442 without a lock, it is one of the older J-Frame smiths that they call an Airweight. Mine is a .38. I bought a leather pocket holster years ago and it still works just fine. A S&W J-Frame will just about disappear in a front pocket. I keep mine loaded with 158 grain LSWHP+P's and I feel perfectly safe when carrying my old school revolver. There is a podcast that Massad Ayoob is a part of and while listening to that I heard someone mention a spring kit that Mr. Ayoob had recommended to them for their J-Fame. It isn't a target weight spring kit, but a duty/carry spring kit that changed my trigger-pull from what felt like around fourteen pounds to a much smoother nine pound trigger pull. I would recommend that kit to anyone who carries a J-Frame Smith. If anyone is interested, it is called:  Apex Tactical Duty/Carry Spring Kit S&W J-Frame. Good luck to you on your choice.

I do hate to say this, but I believe that George Zimmerman will now be charged by the Obama Department of inJustice on a civil-rights charge. Do you remember the number of police officers (this was regarding the Rodney King fiasco) that were found not guilty by a jury in California? Those men were then charged by the feds and found guilty. Seems a lot like double jeopardy to me. This administration has shown that there is nothing that they will not do to get their way. And Sharpton, and Jackson, and the NAALCP have already said that they are going to ask Obama and Holder to do this.
