Practice makes perfect. It is pretty amazing how comfortable you get with something you practice with compared to not. I know that simply sounds sooooooooo obvious, and it is. I guess it's just simply amazing to me how sometimes it's kind of like you ended up being better with something you put the time in with than you would have even guessed from the start. It's always a good feeling when something comes together like that.
I was issued an M9 in the Marines and probably have close to 100,000 rounds through one. I hadn't touched one from 2003 until a couple days ago. I closed my eyes, brought the pistol on target, and opened my eyes with perfect sight alignment. With all of my pistols, the sights will be close but not perfect.
That actually made me decide to sell my Glock 35 so that I can pick up an M9/92.
