Sell it and purchase a shooter!
I've bought vintage unfired classics before and shot them. At the time I couldn't imagine ever selling my guns. Now I'm much older and living on my savings. The summer before last I sold off a lot of my collection, and even after keeping them in excellent condition with box and all papers, they still weren't NIB. I'm not complaining, I shot them and enjoyed them, but could have made out much better. I once sold a Colt Python really cheap because I much preferred shooting Smith & Wessons'. I guess that was my biggest mistake and I don't like even thinking about it. OTOH, I sold three mint condition Colt Diamondbacks for four and five times my investments. You win some and lose some!!
