Hello. My real name is Dan. I'm new to this forum. I'm a 53 year old former Marine Captain. I'm also a disabled veteran. I've been a reloader for about six years. Been shootin' since I was 19. I was active in IDPA competition until a couple years ago when my military disability worsened. Anyway, I bought my first 10mm in 93' from another Marine. It was a good old Gen 2 Glock 20. Still proudly own her, although I've made a number of modifications. I'll try to upload a picture of her soon. For most of my firearms life I have embraced and spread the gospel of the 10mm amongst my friends and acquaintances. Hasn't always been easy. As you all know, gun owners are very attached to their calibers. I enjoy handloading the 10mm and I've mostly left the JHP's behind and converted to hardcast. Montana Bullet Works makes great projectiles. Been loading 200 and 220 grain hardcast. Very powerful. Anyway,I've also diverted into 45 and 40 Super lately. To me those are really the only cartridges in semi auto that can rival the 10mm. Many shooters despise these wildcats but their performance speaks volumes. Great to be aboard with all of you!
