Some work up loads.

RHhunter;

You will seldom find components to match your data, but that's ok.

It's why there is a "start" load. (lowest charge shown)

This is where you can use different but like components, as this is a low pressure level.

So begin loading at the start load and work up watching for pressure signs.

Don't go lower than start load unless you want to stick a bullet in the barrel.

Good luck on your primer hunt.

Where exactly do all these "pulled" bullets come from, anyway?
good question. they sure sell enough of them!

Just got 500 in the other day. No pull marks detected, but I didn't expect any.

They are not shinny bright, just a tad dull. That is what I think is the "second".

I'm not going to bother cleaning them.

I got mine in on 10-31. Ordered on 10-27.

Only thing about them is they are not shinny, otherwise they look good.

Ordered 500 40 cal 200 gr Gold Dots 10/27 from RMR.

Said they wouldn't ship until 11/1.

Got them on 10/31.

Still waiting on a previous order from 9/14.

When I started loading 10 mm (last summer), I noticed no H-110 loads and was puzzled.

Then shot my work up loads with 180 gr plated and home cast 180 gr powder coated bullets.

With max listed charge with Blue Dot, I thought I was shooting a full power H-110 load.

My conclusion was the people who listed the data knew what they were doing.

So I'll save my H-110 for 357, 7.62x25, and 44 mag.

Extreme has plenty of plated bullets, I've used the 180 gr. Shot fine.

They have plenty of different weights in stock.

I have ordered from RMR before.

They are slow to ship, but you will get your bullets eventually.

So am I the only one who primes on the press?

I prime on my Rockchucker if loading single stage, the auto primer tube work great.

I have a RCBS hand primer, RCBS first gen bench primer as well as the current RCBS bench primer.

The first gen RCBS works great with Berdan primers when I load brass or steel case 7.62x39.

I use the primer stations on the SDB's and 550's when loading progressively.

Reloading / Re: 9mm brass that is not brass
September 20 2020 12:45:58 PM MDT
The ones I had in 9mm were S&B headstamp.

They were damaged after wet tumbling where the brass plate wore through and the steel underneath was exposed.

If you dry tumble them, they act just like real brass.

Decapped and wet tumbled 100 45 Colt cases, same with 100 7.62x25 Win cases I picked up at the funshow.
