Hi all, thought I'd share some info and un-scientific data on some new loads I've been working on for my recently acquired CMMG MK10 Banshee. First, the gun is just amazing! Solid as a rock, and everything they say it is in all the YouTube video's. Winchester 231 is a powder I happen to have a lot of so I decided to work up some loads that would function well in the Banshee, and my Sig P220. Plenty of posts on the web regarding start/max loads with a 180 gn fmj fn bullet including data from most of the major powder manufacturers. Load suggestions seem to vary quite a bit so I decided to go with my old standby, Hodgon's Load Data website. Their data shows results from an Acme coated 180gn fn bullet with the same profile as the Everglades fmj fn bullets I have. So, I decided to start at a OAL of 1.250 (mixed brass) using a batch of Fort Smith LPP's ( so far, these have been great primers), and work up from 6.0 gn.  and chrono the loads. Long story longer, the 6.0 loads had challenges with cycling the Banshee so I kicked them out. Next up, 6.3, same specs. 3 strings, 10 shots ea. My average of those 3 strings was 1132fps with a SD of 8.0. The chrony was set up 10ft from the muzzle.  Not bad, and the gun LOVES this load. Did not chrono my Sig but it seems to like them too. Since I'm getting near the upper end of recommended loads, I think I'll stay with this one. Next up; gonna try some 2400 loads with the same bullets. Hope this is useful.

Hi all!
New to the forum..... after spending the last hour reading through the thread that Shadow started on factory ammo pulls for 10mm, I felt like I just had to join the group. Outstanding effort by Shadow on that thread. I'm currently shooting my new Sig P220 10mm Stainless Elite and those load values will really come in handy for my next hand loads. Think I'll stay with Power Pistol and Win 231 for now (180 gn Armscore fmj from Everglades Ammo)  as I've already cooked some loads up and like the results. Cheers everyone!
