Just looked this up. Now I am going to have to order some. Further down the rabbit hole I go. I got two boxes of the XP140s not long ago, loaded 20, but have not had the time to test. I need another chrono.

Agreed.  No so hard after you do it once or twice.  Just have to buy a package of paperclips in case I lose it.  :( I put the tool in the original box the RIA came in just in case.  Probably will make a fee extra to throw in a drawer.  :))

Thanks for the feedback everyone! :D I have to load up quite a few more. I have the 165 pills coming soon and looking forward to see how they load up.  But, may have to wait until I make it back on a run to Colorado to deliver some custom cabinets and furniture to a retired Warrant who is a good friend of mine.  Bringing toys to play with if the weather permits.

RIA Ultra FS HC :D. Yep, I like it. ;D
Trigger is very good!
It fits my hand great and the finger position on the trigger is just in the right spot. ;D
The recoil is very manageable probably due to weight. Only tried the Sig Elite Performance 180gr TMJs/$25 a box of 50 at Academy (chrono at 1250 FPS just as the spec).  Probably won't buy them again as I am reloading now.
With a baggy shirt and OWB holster, I can EDC. I don't mind the weight at all.
The only things I don't like:
The field strip. You HAVE to make a little tool out of a paper clip for disassembly.   ::) Geez.  >:( (see attachment jpg).
It only came with one mag(not really a dislike).  Oh, well, ordered two when I ordered it and just ordered another through the rebate they are currently offering.

No opinion on the XDM. Sorry.

Hey Everyone. Finally got out the Chrono and did some test.  One test was my second set of target ammo.  The first set did not get the chrono as I just wanted to see if I had it right.  All went well.  I started low(learned this from reloading rifle ammo) and went midrange. Today, the chrono came out.  First test was the Sig Elite Performance TMJ 180gr I pick up at Academy for $25 for a box of 50.  It tested to the velocity on the box of 1250 avg.  I then tested my midrange (safe) round of 180gr Speer TMJ and average 1150 fps with 10.4gr of BlueDot.  No pressure signs on the primers(CCI 300 LP - still rounded and no crater) or brass(New Starline),from what I can tell anyway. I want to see how close I can come, or pass, the Sig Elite.  I do believe I have room to go up in charge weight and any advice will be greatly appreciated.
Oh, there was a third test of just a couple of Hunters Supply Hard Cast 180gr.  They were at the same level as the Speer.

Sorry, no accuracy test yet.  I know it goes hand in hand, but have to get used to reloading pistol.

I do have some Sierra Sports Master 165gr on the way and any advice on alternate powders and starting charges will be appreciated, also. I did find a recipe on the Alliant site for BlueDot with a 165gr, so I will probably start a little low from that.

Oh. RIA Ultra 10mm FS HC 5".

Morning Everyone :) A newbie here. My RIA Ultra FSHC arrives today.  ;D I did quite a bit of research and from what I can figure, the RIA UltraI is quite a pistol for the money(Big Bang :D for the buck). I will pick up one box of ammo to start to start and from then on reloads(new to reloading pistols, but reload rifles). I am sure this forum will provide loads on info and hope to contribute as much as I can.
