Handguns / Re: 30 Super Carry

If I was a young collector, I?d buy one, and keep it NIB in my safe.  Years down the road, a collector will pay big money for it.

10mm semi-auto handguns / Re: did it again

I look forward to hearing your feedback.  I bought mine back in July, and it is accurate and runs without any issues.  16+1 in 10mm is awesome.

I also bought those.  And V-Crown 180 for 10mm, and 230 for 45.  Great deals.

Are there issues with Springfield 1911`s?

Not that I?m aware of.  I bought the 6? TRP Operator 5 years back, and it has always run smoothly with stout hand loads.  Last summer I bought a XDM Elite 4.5?.  I preferred it to the S&W.

Looks like I am the odd one. I am running a Burris Fast Fire 3.

If they would get with it and offer shake awake, I would try one.

I?m running the Burris Fast Fire 3 on my SA XDM Elite 4.5? 10mm.  Yes, the shake awake would be a plus, but I don?t use it for defense.

I originally wanted the M&P 10mm.  Really glad I got the SA instead.

I wouldn?t own one.  Wouldn?t shoot one, or be near anyone doing so.  And boy, is it ugly!

Reloading 10mm ammo / Re: Longshot/180 TMJ loads

I?ve loaded and fired many 180?s over 9.5 grs of Longshot.  I have seen the new data, and wonder if Hodgdon changed the formula.  I just bought a new 4 lb jug, and will have to load some at 8.2, and run them over the chronograph and compare to the old load.  It?s going to have to wait until Spring.  I suggest you start at 8.2, and work up.

I unplug, and dump all the spru cuttings in the pot.  Have been doing it since 1977.

Welcome aboard sir.  There?s a lot of good 10mm information here.  I looked long and hard at the S&W M&P 10, 4.6?.  I went with the Springfield Armory XDM Elite, 4.5?.  No regrets.

I got a similar count on my V-Crown order.  Haven?t loaded any yet.  I like 115 in my 9mm.  Right now I?m loading the Federal 115 Hi Shok bullets I got from them.

Reloading 10mm ammo / Re: long shot powder

Would need more information on your charge weights.  Also the history of your powder.  Longshot is my favorite for 10mm loads, and ignites without issues for me.
