I would love to see a PC carbine in 10mm, but I am not holding my breath until they catalog a 45 ACP version.  OTOH, they have certainly left the door open to engineering such a solution by using an insert to reduce the overall magwell size and having interchangeable tungsten bolt weights as well as an easily changed bolt face.  It certainly seems like they meant this to be cartridge convertible by changing no more than five parts:  Barrel, bolt face bolt weight, magwell and magazine.  And like Dillon's caliber change charts, many of those parts might serve multi-caliber duty. 

Probably only three magazine inserts:  Short for 9mm, 40 S&W, 357 Sig.  Medium for 38 Super, 9X25, 10mm, 45 ACP.  And possible long for 357, 41, 44 magnums and 45 LC.  That last one may or may not work.  I don't have one to measure the size of the opening without an insert in place.

As far as reloading lead bullets....I cast and shoot my own.  My go-to molds are the Lee 175 grain SWC TL, which I either tumble lube or powder coat, and an NOE 200 grain RG mold that has interchangeable nose plugs to cast either a 200 grain WFN or a 180 grain HP.  These get Felix lube or powder coat.  Good ole Blue Dot is my go-to powder for performance and accuracy, though good results have been had with Longshot and AA#9 when chasing velocity.  For "plinking" loads, I have shot a bunch of Unique and lately I have been running lots of BE-86. Plinking loads match or exceed even Underwood 40 S&W loads, though occasionally I will further download if I know I am teaching a new shooter.

Lead requires slugging the bore and ensuring bullets are at least .001" over bore or a bit more.  This can be a challenge sometimes with a Glock factory barrel as they are generous to say the least.  Most slug out at .402", meaning a .403" bullet is ideal.  But a .403 will often bulge the mouth of the case enough that they rounds won't pass a drop test.  .402 sized bullets work in my guns with Felix lube, but powder coat is best.  Powder coat provides additional protection against flame cutting of the bullets if you don't have perfect fit.

Hey thanks Shadow! I have just heard rummmors so far about it. But man that would be cool if they did.
I listen to a radio program while I workout called Tom Greshams gun talk radio. I dont know if any of you listen as well but it is cool so if not check it out. I find them on youtube and they talk about all types of things pertaining to firearms and the like. The one I recently listened to today had a part in it that struck my intrest. In it Tom said something in so many words with out saying to much on a possible 10mm that will be coming out soon. Im thinking he was talking about the Ruger PC rifle in 10mm being announced at Shot show coming up. At approximately 20:40 is where he makes the statement where I think he is talking about it. I guess he has some inside info but cant disclose it just yet. I sure hope so I would love a PC in 10mm. Check it out and let me know what you think he is talking about. Hello all. My name is Dan. Im from SE PA and have been into firearms most of my adult life. Im 40 years old and own several firearms for hunting, target shooting and self defense. I reload my own ammo. I currently do not have a 10mm but hopefully soon will hence the reason i am joining this forum to learn as much about this cartridge as I can. Im thinking about getting the Glock 20 and hopefully a 10mm carbine as well. I served in the Marines from 98-2002 MOS was 0811 "Artillery".  I worked as a correction officer for 13 years, a private investigator, construction, and now local police department as a civilian processor "I book criminals into the local jail". I have a 2 teen boys, wife of 19 years and a dog "Boxer". Collect knives and have had  my concealed carry licence going on 15 years now. Carry 98% of the time either a Smith & Wesson M&P shield 9mm or a Ruger LCP.

My first post here, just found this forum and was like cool a forum just for 10mm. I am considering getting a 10mm Carbine soon, hopefully the Ruger PC if they come out with a 10mm soon that would be the one haha fingers crossed. Shot show is right around the corner and i have been hearing rumors. Well if they do and i do then I want to reload for it. I have been reloading pistol calibers for approximately 8 years I think now. What would you recommend for mainly plinking rounds, like bullet weight,type,powder ect.  I want to have the full experience of 10mm not a watered down version. Also whats  would be your take on using hard cast lead in this setup?
Has anyone else heard any possible rumors about Rugers PC rifle?
