Found  one last weekend   it is both heavy  and preforms like a hipoint.

Has. Anyone actually  seen and held the new hipoint ? Looks like it will be a better truck gun then my rockisland. 

I have several Hi points. Shoot great, ugly yes but the weight helps with recoil. Make great truck guns.  I will be getting one when Ican.

I am a south paw also. Adding a ambi safty is easy and I have bpught a kimber 1911 in 10 mil. Rock island has a 6 in match  both are good guns , i have both. Now a left ejection port would be nice, only gun I know was Randal firearms mid 80s , they made south paw 1911

Underwood  buffalo bore and few other companies have  great bullets. Has anyone found a source for the bullets only ?

That sight mount looks like what i can use. Was wanting dovetail, but this  looks better . My kimber is standard 1911 with no rail under

Thanks,   my big concern is how long will a sight on the slide last m geeting beat up every shot, cowitness was not a plan  vecause i have fixed sights , which is why I want a red dot on it

Have a kimber custom 2 tle. Wanting ro mount a red style on it. I would to use the dove tail that is there, itxwas suggested  not a good idea. I seen ones that mount on frame above the slide. Anyone have experience?  Wanting to hunt with it.

I have a kimber custom2tle in 10mm 700 nib good gun price. Well worth it if you want a 10mm

I contacted  kimber, not really much to say beside stay with in saami specs. Was told not really  sure how the bigger spring will affect the gun when going forward.
