Quote from: sep on November 23 2018 04:56:47 AM MSTI owned a Glock 20 as well and sold it too. The grip was too large for my hands even without any backstraps. And the G20 barrel is a tad bit shorter than the 5.25. Thank You for your post! D
I started with the G20 then sold it and bought the G40 when it came out because I prefer a longer sight radius and the slight increase in velocity with the longer barrel for woods carry. Neither XDm pistol is gonna be difficult to carry OWB. So, it comes down to your personal preference.
If Springfield would have offered a 6 inch version I would have bought it but I have no interest in a 5.25 barrel. I like the XDm platform. I own two of them right now and previously owned two more in 45 ACP and one XD in 9mm. My current IWB carry is an XDm 9mm compact and I have a full size version as a range toy. Their factory triggers are generally better than the Glocks and if you want to upgrade it, you can install a Powder River Precision Ultimate Match Trigger. I wouldn't recommend that trigger for concealed carry as it is really light but for range use it's great.
