Chicago (chi-raq) has tough gun laws compared to most cities.   Assault weapons are banned in some suburbs, 10 round magazine maximum, and yet it has extremely high gun violence numbers.
Tougher buyer /seller / traceability laws will not work.  Criminals will continue to buy and sell firearms illegally.   If you make a desired object harder to obtain, you increase it's cost.  Increasing its cost provides the seller, with a greater profit.  Increase profits, will promote more people to sell illegally.
Any form of gun contol only affect law abiding citizens.
  Let's look at our current drug war.  The US has not and cannot, irradiate illegal drugs in this country.  The greater number of drug laws, the greater the risk is on the drug dealer, who interns increases his profits, thus seducing more people into the drug industry.  The only victim is the non drug using citizen. 

Shall be infringed, means no changes, restrictions, or amendment to our right to bear arms.  Did restricting felons from owning guns, really remove firearms from their hands, or create a black market for it.
Does NFA laws truly prevent criminals from using vertical handgrips on pistols, taping a coke bottle to a barrel, or adjusting sears in semi rifles? No!!!!!

Witness and glock's have a different grip angle.  So the bolt face & barrel feed ramp may challenge a witness conversion.

It amazes me, when people point the finger at a president.  Current presidents represent a mindset of multiple individuals.    If a president made a decision, that was supported by other members of the government, it could be rejected. We do have checks and balances.  But it doesn't happen, because, many of our leaders are "on board" even when they publically say they aren't.

Funny thing, FBI stats, handguns are used in the majority of shootings.  During the majority of shooting only 2-3 shots are fired.   I'm assuming,  that the majority of the handguns used were the murder type, cause murderers tend to pass over, pink / pastel colored protection firearms. 

i believe law enforcement uses 9mm due to  ammo cost & low recoil.

I haven't performed a formal test.  but visually measuring hole diameter / depth in Louisiana mud, the doubletap frangible performed better.

I agree withe the "I maybe retarded" caption in the video.

The guy works the bolt, chambers a round and bayonets the gelatin. I guess it doesn't penetrate as much as he like so he ""grabs"" the gelatin, by placing his hand in front of the muzzle.

Im a fan of penetration for home defense.   I speculate that most of the individuals on the receiving end of a fired round, will stand "squared off" with the shooter.  And the human body isn't ballistic gelatin.  You have to overcome clothing, muscle, and bone. 
Imagine shooting someone 6ft 3inches, a muscular 220 lbs, wearing a jacket.  And it's his intention to return fire, while fleeing.   His upper body is turned, left shoulder is closest to you, right arm is the furthest away, gun in hand.   In this scenero, a shot to his shoulder needs to "pass through" clothing, skin tissue, muscles, break bones and continue inward. 
It's my opinion heavy bullets are great for self defense.

Ak47. Weld the bolt to th bolt carrier.  Grind the front trunnion locking lugs. Remove  barrel and replace with a .40 barrel, at 16" in length.

I'm visioning a ak47 magazine, remove springs and followers.  Start with a horizontal cut 1-2 inches below the tang that engages the mag release.   Insert a 10mm mag into the part with the feed lips. 
Insert it into the action.  Position the .40 mag, in correct loading position.  Silver solder the upper ak47 & the .40  mag together.    Interchangeable mags!  With no welding done to the receivers Magwell

Para p16-40 - barrel swap / rechambering
Mauser m2 40 SW  - barrel rechambering, remove magazine slug
Eaa large frame - . 40 slide, barrel rechambering,
Ruger gp100 .357. - cylinder reborn to .40,  barrel bore to .40
1911s. - 40  slide, barrel rechambering, correct ejector

I often wondered how a limited would look with a flat dark earth paint job.  Saw it on the linked page.
