Yea that would be a blast,  I'm located about 40 minutes north of the cities, in elk river.  I am pretty darn busy as well, but I think it would be a blast to plan something in the future to do some shooting and meeting one another!!

Thanks for the info, have you shot/hunted with the 45 super? And what modifications would I have to do for that? I have notice that there is far more options  for that then the 450 SMC. I'm slowly learning how to reload by watching a friend of mine. So soon I can start reloading my self.

While I'm waiting to have enough money for my Valor in 10mm, do any of you have knowledge on 450 SMC? Thinking of using for deer hunting this year if I don't have enough funds by then.

Has anyone tried the double tap 450SMC ammo for whitetail? While I'm saving up for my dan Wesson valor, I was think of purchasing some of this ammo to hunt with. Any thoughts?

This guns usage will be mainly for deer hunting, as well as a carry gun when I'm out bow hunting or just bumming in the woods. I have shot the glock 20, and maybe because I have put much time into it. But it just doesn't feel right. You guys that mentioned the Sig, you guys really like them? Is kimber a brand to stay away from?

Hey everyone! I'm new to the forum as well as to the 10mm. But I have the itch to buy one. I do have a pretty good understanding of various firearms, but in your guys opinion, would you recommend I go with the 1911 platform or others. Not biased either way, just looking for solid advice. Thanks!
