Last weekend I finally shot the 180gr X-treme over Longshot, the 8.8 grain load shot very well, but not as well as the Blue Dot load.

I will let you know, I load the heavy plate, and they are excellent with the 10.4gr Blue Dot load.

I have had mediocre success with Longshot in the 10mm, but I buy it by the 8# jug for the 480 Ruger, 45 Colt,  and 454 Casull,  does pretty well in the 357 and 44 Magnums too.  I will have to give the 8.8 under a 180 X-treme a try, the suggest of 10.4 Blue Dot was the Bee's knees.

Longshot and AA #9 both meter very well.

I am casting this bullet from an NOE mold, it weighs 203 grains lubed and checked.  From L-R, Doubletap 230gr, NOE 203gr, and 203gr NOE.  Will work for 100% reliable feeding, have to seat them at 1.245 to get them to work in the magazine of the SR1911, currently I am using AA-9, Blue Dot, and Longshot.  Once I know the OAL is good for feeding, I will tweak until the accuracy is where I want it.

Thank you!  I have been reloading and shooting an SR1911 in 10mm for 5 months now.  Recently picked up an NOE 198gr mold with the HP pins and a GC.  Look forward to learning from you all.

I have had good luck thus far with the heavy plate X-treme bullets, best accuracy has been with Power Pistol and Longshot.
