Miscellaneous 10mm Firearms / Re: Kriss Vector 10mm

I threw a Nikon 1x4 Black Force scope on it that I had laying around.  It has a lighted reticle like the Vortex. I like it much better now and it comes up as fast as a red dot especially on 1 power.

Ramjet, I am new to the group and just posted that I just picked up a Kriss Vector 10mm yesterday.  I am glad to see that you like yours.  I was wondering if you know of any aftermarket mags for it that hold more than the standard Glock 15 rounders.  I have not searched the internet yet but since I was here I thought I would ask.

Miscellaneous 10mm Firearms / Kriss Vector 10mm

I am just getting back on the 10mm bandwagon.  I had a Delta elite a few years back but traded it toward an AR-10.   I bought a New Ruger 10mm 2 weeks ago, put it on layaway that is.  It will be coming home this weekend. Yesterday I took a long drive to one of the best gun shops in Maine for their after Christmas Sale.  I saw a Kriss Vector in the rack, it turned out to be used, and asked to handle it.  I had never even seen one before.  The price tag on it said $1149, but the clerk told me that If I bought it today outright I could have it for $50 over what they had into it.  Apparently they had $750 into it, remind me never to trade their, because I got it for $800. :D  Not only that but they have an indoor range that they let me use free of charge for one hour.   I bought a box of the Sig 180s and it ran great.. The only thing I didn't like was the Mag-pul sights that were on it.  I hate those things.  Also, because of the low mounted sights and the fact that I had the stock in the shortest position, it wasn't the most comfortable thing to shoot.  At least I hope that was the reason. I will either put a red dot on it or I have a 1x4 Nikon with illuminated reticle that I could throw on it.
