Ordered a six inch kkm barrel for the Glock 20 yesterday. Now I will be legal for Ohio's five inch minimum barrel length to use a hand gun for deer. Anybody have any opinion s on the kkm? Did some online research and it seems to be a decent barrel.
I use a 6" threaded kkm for my glock 20, hunting and woods defense.  We live in Ouachita Mountains, 60 acres all sides surrounded by National Forest.  I have found you get occasional jams with the 200 - 220 cast slugs.  Running them through a sizer helps, but not 100%.  I'm talking 1 or 2 in 50 will not feed completely.  Usually you can palm the back of the slide and it will seat.  The problem usually starts after 20 or so shots and progresses.  My guess is the chamber is tight and probably gets some lube or lead build up as the shot count rises.  Not frequent, but not what I want for woods defense! Now I use Lehigh Xtreme Penetrator slugs over Longshot powder getting 700 fpe for bear defense.  Whistles through level 3 vest, right through bullet proof glass, but still disrupts tissue.  It and all jacketed or plated bullets are 100% reliable in the kkm.

......a gp100's in 10 mm oh yeah and rossi a 10 mm lever gun.  OH yeah!!!! now were talking!!!!
Yeah, that would be nice
I think a Redhawk and a Deerfirld Carbine in 10mm would be nice too

I personally would never buy a Rossi

Instead of a Deerfield, why not just buy a Mech Tech?

I have my MechTech
A nice MG20....runs flawlessly with its 20 Round Mags

Can't remember now, but I did read somewhere the Marlin is thinking of offering the 1894 in 10mm
As I said, I don't remember where I read it, but it would be nice too
I also use a MechTech 10mm (glock).  It is not reliable with cast bullets, but with jacketed or plated slugs it is very reliable.  50yd groups are approx 1.5" and with the 16" bbl energy levels are in the 1000 ft/lbs level.  Plenty for deer out to 100+ yds.

I have always wanted a revolver in 10mm. Now that Ruger makes a Super Redhawk in 10mm, I HAD to have it. So I bid on one on Gunbroker. I bid his minimum starting bid, and was the only bidder! Waiting for my FFL guy to send all his information to the seller so I can get it transferred to me. I can hardly wait!

Congrats!  Now all you have to do is have it reamed to 10mm mag!
