Have any of you found that the factory G20 barrel out shines, say the KKM barrel when it comes to certain bullet types?
NEVER

, or situations that an after market barrel could actually be dangerous.
NEVER EVER

I have found my KKM factory replacement barrel to function flawlessly so far
ALWAYS

, but just wanted to ask the experts
Thanks

Ken

My two KKM barrels, one for my G20 and another for my G40 always outshines the factory with any bullet and any of my reloads.

Here ya go   https://www.tombstonetactical.com/catalog/eaa/600646-wit-mch-p-10mm-da-4-75b-15/
Note - there is confusion between the P-Match and P-Match Pro.  The 600646 should be the DA/SA with standard magwell.  The 600647 is the SA with a flared magwell.  The standard 14 round EAA/Tanfoglio will only fit the NON MAGWELL  pistol.  The mag baseplate for the mag for the magwell version is smaller.  I added various mag extenders to my mags so they now fit the magwell pistol.  I haven't seen a 15 round mag yet for the P-Matches.  There has been a lot of confusion with erroneous descriptions such as " P-Match 18 round 10mm".  Someone took the 9mm version capacity and left it in the 10mm description.  Anyway,  my gun has the SA and magwell. Trigger is great out of the box.  Just a little more recoil than my G40.  It is a keeper!

Two searches came up with Bud's, one is $893 and the other is $912. None in stock though. May need to sell off my G40.

Bought a G40 MOS to replace the G20.  Mounted a Burris FF, what a hoot, only 100 rounds of practice ammo with good results. Joe L,  thank you for your posts and videos.  Now to do the same to my P-01 or 75B SA.  Oh, this Glock and all my Gen 3 and 4' always run strong, just can't get a correct grip.  That's why I now have 3 - CZs, 1-C-100 and 3 - Tanfoglios

Did he say "that you can hunt deer with it because it has little recoil"?

Here is part of my introduction earlier this morning...
"Mike (Patriot) suggested a P Carry so I looked into it and planned to get one after the holidays.  Patriot sent a PM letting me know a P Carry was available on Gun Broker and a pointer on how to bid.  Three days later the gun is mine at a bid I could not imagine would take the auction.  So again Thank you Mike and everyone on this site.  Just 1 PM sure made a difference."
So StockIIBoss the timing of your post is perfect.  It gives me a few days of researching and possibly ordering a few parts.

General Discussion / Re: Introductions

Hello from the Panhandle of Florida.  My name is Chris, retired U.S. Navy, 11 years a skimmer then 11 years a bubble head.  Always impressed with the 10mm, I started reloading it 11 years ago.  Some good guns just don't fit my hand then I found CZ and now Tanfoglio.  Fun and comfortable to shoot and reasonably easy to work on.
Before this introduction, I asked about a Witness Compact , steel, to replace my G29.  The impression I got that it could be slightly troublesome.  Mike (Patriot) suggested a P Carry so I looked into it and planned to get one after the holidays.  Patriot sent a PM letting me know a P Carry was available on Gun Broker and a pointer on how to bid.  Three days later the gun is mine at a bid I could not imagine would take the auction.  So again Thank you Mike and everyone on this site.  Just 1 PM sure made a difference.

I'd avoid all witness compact models. However I love my P Carry. Polymer full size frame with the compact slide. So you get the shorter barrel with 14 round capacity. ..

You would stay away because the grip is to small? or is there another concern with all steel compacts

Doesn't the P Carry use the Force style hammer internals?

10mm semi-auto handguns / Poly or Steel

I sold off my Glock 29 since my hands do not fit their shape.  So I am looking at a Witness Compact 10mm, unfortunately none to see around Pensacola.  Would someone give their views of the all steel model (999230) vs the Poly version (999063). This is for occasional daily carry, range practice.  I do reload 10mm and have a Witness P Match in 10mm and a EAA9B.  I do like to give a gun a fluff and buff with spring change but have never taken apart a Tanfoglio Poly model only the all steel models.
Thank you

One other observation on the P Match magwell style magazines, the magwell mags have a set screw that locks the magazine body to the mag base pad like most after market base pads / extensions.

Just got home with my 10mm P Match.  This is the one with the magwell.  Well, the magwell is formed in a shape where the standard TF K10 magazine base does not fit up into the magwell far enough for the mag to lock into place.  The single mag that came with the gun has a uniquely shape base plate more like the metal extended bases from the aftermarket group. The magwell style base is 1.74" front to back whereas the standard 10mm base pad is 1.97".  Width wise, the magwell style mag is .96" wide but the standard factory mag is 1.01" wide.  Both magazine bodies are marked FT-Made in Italy,  K10,  with witness holes at 5, 10 and 14. I do not know it this is the case with any caliber other than 10mm.  Additionally,  when I went to EAA website, I entered in my 10mm's serial number hit search and the results erer "No magazine"! Yes, pictures will be best, hopefully after not too much turkey I'll learn how to include pictures.  I have ordered a couple Springer / Henning style mag base pads to see it they will fit into this gun's magwell.  This runs the price of the mags up until EAA gets the correct mags in from TF.
