    H110/296 with 180 grain bullets.

Here you go.
Slow burning powders and light bullets make for some serious flash. H110/296 is the king.
The muzzle blast is pretty serious as well.

Huh........I thought the brass just vaporized upon ejection.

When my grandkids come to visit, one of their favorite past times is looking for brass. A properly motivated five year old can find anything.

I've been shooting these over 8grs of Power Pistol with good results.
They average 1,125 over my chronograph.

Take a look at Graf and Sons. The best reason to buy there is they are competitively priced and the freight is a fixed rate, usually only $7.95 per order excluding haz mat, if applicable. They carry all of the name brands. Here's their pages on 40 caliber bullets. Note, they will show at the last of the pages what they are out of marked in red. They give price per bullet too for comparison shopping. Shipping from them to me is normally 4 days to Texas. Don't overlook their close out section as it can have real dandy deals.

I've been shooting the Armscor and Magtech 180gr .40 bullets in my 10mm Ruger 1911 and Glock 40. At $.12 ea, they're hard to beat. The Magtech bullets seem to be of a bit better quality. Grafs gets some pretty good deals on bulk bullets from time to time, so check often. A lot of them are one time deals and when they're gone, they're gone. I live fairly close to the store and pick up my orders there, so I can't comment on their shipping. Overall, pretty good folks to deals with.
