I recently put a Overwatch Precision in my model 40. It was ok, paired with a 3.5# disconnect though it was garbage. I played with the factory trigger, disconnect, and polishing. I found the best combo to be the factory trigger, mirror polished and the disconnect.

This Glock will be used for hunting. In fact I already took a javelina with it. I'm looking to replace the trigger, any suggestions? In a perfect world a trigger would be as close to a good quality rifle trigger as possible. I'm looking for something that will decrease the overall poundage. OverWatch Precision has one that I have my eye on but are there any others that I should be looking at?

Kenk,  if you order some,  could I purchase about a dozen from you for testing?

I like the 200 grain XTP and 200 Grain Gold Dots at 1220- 1240 fps from the G-20 barrel and should be a little more from the 6" of the G-40.

The cast bullet will punch through most animals depending on how much dense bones are struck...

I've thought a lot about the gold dot, all research has lead me to believe the gold dot opens wider, there for limiting penetration. Which for most of the stuff I'll ever hunt won't be that big of a deal, I do like two holes in animals though.

A 200 xtp or gold dot at 1200+ would be amazing.

I'll be rolling my own. Last week I killed a javelina with 155 xtp.

I've got a model 40 with 6" KKM barrel. Animals from javelina up.

I was looking at either 180 or 200 XTP.


Thoughts?

This stuff shoots very well from my G40.
