General Discussion / Re: That didn’t take long

Presidents get most of their agendas done in the first 2 years.  So if he has to stay busy with other problems it will be harder to get it accomplished

General Discussion / Re: Why do you carry?
November 13 2020 11:03:29 PM MST
I carry for the same reason I do many things in life. I work out and eat healthy to take care of myself. Pay bills save money and prepare for the future. Carry insurance in case of emergency.  Even though violent crime is only half of what it was 25 years ago.  That doesn't mean I  can slack off and not take care of myself along that path either.

I have one of Lobo's snap loop pancake holsters and am very happy with it. It may fit your need.

From my understanding ballistic gelatin is meant to simulate the density of human tissue. And I would have to assume that game animals or hard training athletes would have much more density. It is just a consistent medium that can be used to compare different bullets  in a fair way as opposed to one guy using milk jugs then the next using wet phone books.

I think the farthest left and farthest right are the ones that get the presses air time. And people ending up believing that is what the parties are all about. Which can end up causing divides which the moderates have to contend with. The progessives  and the tea party are not the majority but they get the presses attention.  And people believe that is what the party is all about.

I find the difference betweem the 2 parties is more then 2 issues.  I know people that think the Republican party is all about big business.  And others that vote mostly about ecology and savings the planet. I vote to the right mostly about 2A rights. But disagree over many other things the party stands for. If I want to know what a democrat or a rebublican think or believe. I don't ask there oposition.  It is about like asking a man to explain how women really think and feel. It is out of my realm.

I have  both, they are both good tools. But I like the XD more. Feels better and is a little slimmer.

Yes that is a good holster got one many years ago. But I an not real thrilled with getting leather holsters soaking wet possibly day after day. So that is why I adked about kydex.

Gear/Equipment / XDM 4.5 10mm Kydex Holster

I am looking for a kydex holster for my 4.5" XDM left hand holster that the manufacturer would have in stock for shipping. I am seeming to have some difficulty finding one. If any one has any recommendations I would appreciate hearing about it.

I saw a report that said the XD 10mm used the same sized frame as the 45. Anyone have any first hand info that this is true.

10mm semi-auto handguns / Witness Elite Stock
August 17 2018 01:06:21 PM MDT
I guess I am late to the game. I thought that I was going to have to get a glock 20SF which is a good gun then I noticed the the Witness Elite Stock series are Double action on the first round, as that is one of the features that I am looking for. The difference between the Elites is not that drastic from what I have read so far. Can anyone elaborate on what they like best about the different models?

10mm semi-auto handguns / Glock 20 VS 20 SF Dimensions
August 17 2018 08:28:34 AM MDT
Feel is just a subjective thing so I was wondering if anyone know the dimensions such as pull length. As I often hear that the SF is the same size as the standard Glock with out the bck strap. are they7 the same or is there any difference.

I have been carrying my S&W 329PD for the last decade or so. The .44 mag is a great round but think I would like a little more volume these days and the 10mmm would take care of anything I am reaaly likely to encounter.
