These are hand loads so I can make them as hot as needed. Or do you mean energy transfer?

Oops sorry. I was referring to their factory loads. The bullet itself is great.

I personally wouldn't use them on hogs. They are tough critters and hornadys ammo is anemic in the energy department. I'd recommend something from DT or Underwood.

G40 for the MOS and longer sight radius.

Thanks everyone!  Sorry for the lack of details, but they are a little boring I'm afraid.  Hit the doe low and tight to the shoulder.  Complete pass through.  The deer managed to scamper about 30 yards before calling it quits.  Very quick, clean kill.

10mm Hunting / First kill with G40

Took this doe this past weekend at about 40 yards with my G40 topped with Vortex 3 MOA.  Sig 180 grain hollow point.  The weather was miserable this weekend in Texas, but the hunting was fantastic!

Howdy from central Texas.  My name is Randy and I'm a longtime handgun enthusiast/hunter, but first time 10mm owner.  I recently bought a Glock G40 and outfitted it with a Vortex 3MOA and Streamlight rail-light.  Looking forward to hunting whitetails this season, and also hogs at night!

I'm looking forward to jumping in here.  Below is a pic of said Glock and a homemade chest holster.
