Amazes me how many on here are ok with unconstitutional laws.  The second amendment says shall not be infringed.  But yet guys in here are ok with the laws that infringe on that right.  Amazing.

Sad also.

The person who wanted the gun could have bought it for himself.  Instead someone took payment for it, and lied about it on a federal form, to purchase it 2nd person.

This has nothing to do about infringement of someone's 2nd Amendment rights.

There are no rights in the Constitution free from any restrictions whatsoever.  You can't yell fire in a crowded theater either.

I do think the question should be clearer regarding gifts and is insufficient as currently worded.

It has everything to do with it.  All limiting bills on arms should be unconstitutional.  NFA. Brady Bill.  They infringed.  Should not be legal.   If you read the constitution. You will see something in the 2nd that makes it free from restrictions. Shall not be infrringed.

Requiring people to pay money out for check.  Running check is infringing.  The courts rules poll taxes illegal. So why is it ok to tax the second?

I say if the 2nd can be infringed this way we need to start charging to vote and doing a background check on each person before they can vote.   If you are found to have ever done anything wrong you are barred from voting and taken to jail for attempting to vote.

That would put them as equal.  Even though voting does not have the same strong wording that the second does to protect it from government infringement.

Gear/Equipment / Re: Opinions on Trijicon RMR?

Well my rmr gave out.   About 1500 rounds on it.  Electronics came loose inside.  Guess it's a known issue with the led ones. I guess they have it worked out now.   Will see when mine gets back from trijicon.

Deer at 65 is my personal longest.  But I would not hesitate out to 100.

I have the rmr06 on my longslide.  Love it.  2 things though.

1 put the sight in front of the rmr. Not behind.  This does 2 things. First keeps the sight picture completely clean to see the dot no matter where in the glass it is.  And second puts a block in front of the rmr to keep soot off it.

2. Have David bowie mill it.   As far as I know he is the only only that puts the bosses in the milled slide for alighment and strength.   I don't think ost does.  Or I should say I know they never used to.

What optic are you using that doesn't come apart under the 10's recoil?

Rmr.  I have I would guess about 2000 rounds through it. No issues so far.

Congrats on the take! Your pushing that cast HP nice and fast. What kind of charge you use?

9.5 gr 800x.  If i remember correctly.  I think I had 9.7 gr also but I don't think they grouped as well.

where did your first shot hit? I think you should have waited for a better shot but I wasn't there in the freezing cold.

It was quatered away. High down into the chest. Top of lungs. Second shot I believe missed. 3rd was back a little. 4th was a head shot.  Hard to say exactly.  But that is where I think they hit.

The other 2 I shot this season. The one is on another YouTube. But its kinda dark.  Hit that straight on heart shot. Then head shot at a few feet as it was about to hit me.  Lol.

The other no vid. 50 yards dead run perfect heart shot.

Longslide 6in barrel. Rmr.  Custom cast mihec mold 200gr shallow hp at 1400 fps.

First shot was about 45 to 50 yards. Then the rest are closer as it runs by. Till I fold it.  Hit it 3 out of the 4 shots. They were not very good shots.  Lol. The first one my hand was so cold I could not feel the trigger.   U can see that with how the gun jumps around before it went off.

It was 4 deg with a good wind blowing.  My hand was exposed for about 15 mins.

I found that shooting high with all my 10mm glocks. I now buy adjustable sights. Or order tall front sights to offset it.

Kkm is great for lead. Lone wolf is hit or miss. Storm lake cuts the freebore way to large for cast bullets. They are being stupid. Cutting the throat area to .403 or larger. Mine was.404.  Returned.  Barsto is great. If I had my choice I would go with barsto.
