I'll definitely be reading through the older posts, so I'll be around, maybe not posting as much since my build isn't for over a year

So I'm completely new to 10mm...in fact...my 10mm won't even be ready for over a year :/

I ordered a SVI single stack in .45ACP with a 10mm caliber conversion

At first I had 9mm, but after shooting my friend's 9mm SA 1911...I really didn't like the recoil impulse.  Besides, the only reason I have 9mm is for my wife, but she has her CZ SP-01.

Anyway...after lots of video watching and web reading...I knew I didn't want .40 since I knew I could just load 10mm on the lighter side, so I decided to go for 10mm as my secondary caliber.

Given that I'll have a 1911, which bullet weight is ideal?  180gr seems to come up a lot and I have lots of Hodgdon powder, but it only lists a Sierra bullet for what I have (HP38, Autocomp, CFE Pistol).  I don't plan to load on the hotter end, I'm more of a middle, middle upper type of guy for all of my reloading.  Opinions very welcome!
