Nice! What did it have on it before you put the Trijicon on it?
It just had the factory sights.  It comes with an adjustable rear sight.

The red dot is a much better choice. How do you like the Trijicon? I need something for one of my AR's as I sent the EOTech back and got a refund. It was my 2nd one and was flakey.
Don't get me started on EoTech.  None of mine will hold zero.
I like the Trijicon RMR so far.  I don't care for Trijicon scopes, but their red dots seem to be above average.  If I had to put a red dot on my AR today, and my budget was in the range of the RMR, I would go with an Aimpoint, and most likely one of their micro's.  I've had really good experience with Aimpoint red dots and they hold up really well.

$500?? Nice find. Congratulations. I keep looking at the G40 in the case, it keeps calling my name...
It's good to know the right people in the gun sales business!  I'd been looking for a G40 and got lucky.  The trigger job was just a bonus.

I've now entered the world of handgun hunting...well not yet, but I will this coming season.  Picked up a G40 MOS with a Zev Tech trigger from a local pawn shop for $500.  Within a week I had a Trijicon RMR on it and dialed in at 50yds.

Gear/Equipment / Re: G40 MOS Holster

KT-Mech makes great holsters.  I have one for my Sig 1911 Tacops and love it.  I have been seriously thinking about getting one for my G40 MOS.  Let me know how high it sits on your side.  I ended up getting a cheap Blackhawk CQB because it let the gun sit a little lower.

Rest in Peace brother.  I still have 9 1/2 years until my retirement date.  Things like this make me wonder if I'll ever make it.

Grew up, and still live in, south Alabama.  I've worked in law enforcement for the past 15 years and served on our SWAT team for 13 of those years.  I'm now assigned to the sniper position.
I needed a little excitement put back in hunting and decided to try my hand at hunting with a pistol.  I picked up a Glock 40 MOS with a Zev Tech trigger a couple weeks ago.  I've already topped it with a Trijicon RMR and stocked the closet with Underwood 185gr XTP's.  Now I'm just waiting for deer season to arrive.
