Ive got one of those, youll love it. I have been having trouble with the sights though (after 400 rounds of shooting or so), so you may want to invest in locktite.

Update:

I just found a dissasembly video that would appear to show it having a barrel bushing. Unfortunately I dont have the pistol with me right now (it is at my parents house) to verify.

Gunsmithing / 10mm rock ultra fs hc

Hey guys,

I was looking at putting a compensator on my 10mm pistol, however it is a bull barrel and unfortunately that makes it quite difficult. I looked around the web and apparently I may need to by a threadrd barrel. Does this sound right to you guys? If so would any 10mm 1911 barrel work ( it is a double stack)?

Thanks

I bought a blackhawk serpa and it did not fit, however I managed to get it to work with a Dremel  tool.

I was told the trigger guard was wider than usual, which is usually inserted into the holsters I have been looking at. I might have to try it out if academy has a return policy.

Gear/Equipment / OWB holster for RIA double stack10mm

Hey guys,

Do any of you have experience with holsters for the RIA doublestack or at least double stacks in general? I really want a plastic waist holster. I contacted blade tech and they are not sure if a RIA doublestack will fit their 45 doubke stack, though I'm guessing it will.

Okay thsnks, I'll try that at some point.

Monty,

I tried mine and I shot 100 armscor, and 6 rounds of sig defense (only had one box and wanted a full mag) and they all cycled perfectly. You might want to email ria

How did you shape the ejector out of curiosity? Did you have a gunsmith do it?
#11
Interesting. The vast majority of our other pistols are 9s so I guess that could explain it.

Funny I have never seen a gun that does it and I have 10 myself. I'm in college so I'm still living at home and my dad has 50 firearms or so, none of which I'm have seen with the peculiar brass markings however we are not 1911 people.

10mm semi-auto handguns / Brass scratching the slide
July 26 2016 01:41:50 PM MDT
Hey guys,

Another newbie 1911/10mm question for you guys: is it normal for brass to scratch the slide (the back right of the ejection port)? If not will it be something that will go away once the spring loosens up after I put more rounds down range, or should I contact a gunsmith.

Thanks,
Christian

Hahaha funny scat remark. And I'm aware they are usually friendly but there are rare instances of them seeking out humans to murder. Happened 50 miles away

I can believe single stacks work but I'm still shocked doubles work.
