10mm semi-auto handguns / A video review of an EAA 10MM.

Shot placement would be my first concern. When the guy started running and the officer started running backwards that's when shot placement becomes more difficult. I just don't think the LE wanted to shoot maybe related to all the Monday Morning Quarterbacking and possible legal and civil charges. That being said I'd want a .45ACP or a 10MM with good ammo that was documented to penetrate less than 18" in ballistic gentian to help shooting anyone on the other side and reduce the chance of a lawsuit over shooting an innocent bystander.

Enjoy your new Witness even if you can't find a 5" barrel.

Good review and a walk down memory lane. I have two, one unfired and I have a deposit on one that I might receive next year. I even have the same Guns&Ammo Magazine you do.

I have a Stainless Regent Hi-Power on it's way to my Dealer. Should be here Friday. Should bring back some old fond memories to me. Even hammer bite. :))

Handguns / Re: CZ 97 Bartso Barrel in 10mm

I remember Bruce Gray having to weld in some spacers on the breech face on Sig 220s' in .45 to convert them to 10MM before Sig started to offer the 220 in 10MM. Don't know if the CZ97 would work without doing this, but I'd check it out before getting a barrel.

Interesting. If it wasn't for that firing pin lock that works of the grip safety I'd consider it.

I'm not sure why either as there's really nothing no one didn't know before now. Ammo is still expensive compared to 9MM and not as easy to find as .45ACP, but there has been more offerings such as the Sig and Grand Power. I'm glad though and I'm on the list for a reproduction of the Bren Ten from Chuck Warner too.

OK where are the details on this reproduction?!

The one thing that has changed since introduction is the intended use.  If I recall, originally it was touted only as a more powerful personal defence round.  The recognition that it was suitable for hunting small and medium game and for general backwood protection is relatively recent, and there is a good market for that.

Try here, but best to call Chuck. https://www.facebook.com/groups/50872516366/
