Update. Place i ordered the new style hammer strut from sent wrong months  ago. Finally got a new one and got around to installing it last  night.  Will have to take to range to fully test it. Should have an update much  faster than this onehttp://cloud.tapatalk.com/s/582cac69a81af/20161116_124118.jpg?

Have the LEM kit, match parts, jetfunnel and some mags coming today. Got to go to work  but figured I'd strip the USP  now  and clean it and the parts up to save some time later. Pretty excited.

Made a few orders last night for the USP.
Will be doing the LEM/Match hybrid trigger. Ordered a jet funnel kit,  LEM kit, match TRB spring, match sear, HK45c mag catch, a few different p16 mags, and a dawson mag extension. While the  HK45  mag works(but is tight) the p16 mags  seem to work nice other than the fact  they stick out and look odd. So i figured id try an extension with the jet funnel kit .

Small update. Messing around  with a p16 mag  i got. Will  update  more  soon

Cody Craig gave me some horrible customer service a while back. Told him about an issue with one of Underwood's offerings, and it seems he never did a thing about it.

I ordered more ammo to replace the "problem" ammo and I got more problems of the same lot.

Best to talk to Kevin Underwood personally.
Interesting.

They surpassed the printed data, although they swear they don't exceed the SAAMI pressure values set for the cartridges...Hummmm! ???

^ i agree. they surpassed the max load in some. Cases.. thy also mix powders and such. But they have  a  lot  more tools  and such to safely mix  powders and work  up  loads. And test  pressures  and such.  The only thing i could do/ should  do. Is  use  1 powder no mixing  and if i work past  the max numbers   check cases  for  signs  slowly.

Factory 10mm ammo / Disappointed in Underwood
April 13 2016 09:16:20 AM MDT
So in the midst of loooking to buy more 10mm ammo to feed my new 10mm HK USP i was on underwoods website when i saw thier ammo looked like it was dulled down in the 10mm department  so i emailed them

Today i got an email back from underwood and I'm disappointed. Both in underwood for catering to  one specific gun in all of thier ammo choices, and colt for making such shitty barrel/chamber.

Yea yea  i know.  Load my own.. but sometimes  i just like buying factory factory ammo. And  without going over most books maxs its hard to touch same speed and energy. I also  dont like loadin over book maxs  as i have no way to measure pressure my self.

Guess  i will be holding on to few  boxes of thr hot ammo i have left

Absolutely awesome. I have added this to the project list! Great work! !

Not sure if you have a local Smith already that you deal with but my gun smith and I were thinking about buying a few barrels and putting together a few hits once we perfect it.He's lookin into a few diff places to get the barrels and maybe get em cheaper in bulk.  I can tell you I'm already planning on having another haha

How much?
As soon as i find out  will  let  you know

Well here it is guys (and gals)

My first 10mm Heckler and Koch

Just got done shooting it.

Put around 100 rounds of miscellaneous  ammo through it

Rounds tried included
Remington umc 180gr fmj
Underwood 180gr fmj and HP
Sig 180 gr fmj & hp
Armscor USA fmj
Hornady 180gr XTP
PMC 170gr hp

The gun shot where i aimed it. Shot  rather soft imo. I did  have a few failures to feed but was only with the lower  power ammo and i know its magazine  related and need a little tweeking of feed lips.  Im goin to  try and post a  short  video  shooting 3 rounds of the 180gr  underwood gold dots

Next  step  is  deciding what red dot  i want to have it cut for when  i have the ejection port opened up. My smith and  i  are  going to attempt to finish the slide  in a flecktarn pattern  once  the slide  is  cut and egravings are done..

But glad  to say i now have a working HK USP 10mm.
