Gear/Equipment / Re: Burris Fast fire 3

Have had my G40 MOS since August or so. Started with a FastFire II. Used the Dr. Plate and the Glock supplied cover plate screws.
Things learned, the Glock screws are really soft and easy to strip and I was concerned that they might shear off at some point. The FF II is nice unless you plan to put suppressor sights on to co witness the dot. The rear sight covers up the retical locking screws.
Solutions, on some site in the ether world a fella found some remote control car part screws that can be used to replace the Glock mounting screws.
They are the Traxxas # 2550 screws. Buddy, who ever you are, thanks. As for the FastFire, go with the III. No locking screws, top mounted battery compartment and there is a white line at the back of the sight housing that allows you to use with a tall suppressor front sight to co witness. A much better choice. Oh, one more thing in favor of the Burris, great customer service and life time warranty.
As for the 40 MOS, The cats a$$$$$$$ er pajamas. Great 10mm platform.

Greetings to the board. I am from the front range of Colorado and have been shooting one thing or another for about 50+ years. My wife and I recently picked up a Glock 20 (hers) and a Glock 40mos (mine). So far range time has been with 10X and some off the shelf factory target loads . We are both playing with red dots and really enjoy the 10 in both Glocks.
Which brings me to my question, in searching for hunting loads, are there any I should stay away from when using the Glock? Fellow Glock shooters, do you have any pet loads (setting up to reload the 10).
Thank you.

I have been shooting for over 5 decades and really enjoy the handguns but know my way with a rifle. A pleasure to meet you.
