The only 1911I saw tested the last few weeks that seemed to be tops IS Colt Delta COMPARED AGAINST TWO GLOCKS 4 AND 5 THE AMAZING PART
the glocks soaked up the recoil a bit better than the delta but shooting accuracy WOW the shooter made the shots look like he was firing almost full auto
the ammo was the HOT FEDERAL 180 BONDED HP AT 1280 OR 1380 WOW ALL ICAN SAY.
SAW THE NEW 220 SHINY IS PRETTY, GRIPS ARE PRETTY THE GUN HAS TO SHOOT HOT AMMO TO MAKE IT AND SIG AMMO IS WEAK
THE GUN  DIDNT PERFORM AS WELL I watched 3 or 4 other men test and shoot deltas not a failure anywhere on the deltas or glocks
I have a Colt DE don't know what year it is a 2007 or older serial # is DSXXXXXE  shoots almost anything great I do reload cast hard 18-20 when
I can get it, its not a range gun, once a year maybe 8 shots.

I have a DE is in my opinion as supported as any other offensive handgun.
I consider myself lucky with My 10 mm COLT, is perfect out of the box, IMO.
I do roll my own lately as store bought ammo appears to be light on powder. I didn't buy a 10mm to shoot a .380 load.

I think intercooler is  full of crap. The sky is falling the sky is falling--The frames that cracked on Colt 10's were because of a piece remaining on the first few CDE's. Everyone loves to knock COLT-after the frame was modified it never happened again, but you all are still running in circles.
You can NEVER compare a CDE to a glock, are you'll kidding.
My CDE will shoot circles around any other 10 out there stock out of the box.  OH I FORGOT THE BARREL ISNT SUPPORTED WHEN DID YOU SEE YOUR LAST
CDE.
I even heard of some glock shooters trying to resize a empty 10 fired from a glock, you have to first buy a special made pre resize die before you can resize it  and it comes with a warning. Don't buy a 10 if you can't afford it. Making a 45 1911 into a 10 isn't exactly a safe way to go.

Just opened a new case of brass 1000/case, used to be 3.03, is now 2.94, when asking company, thats what it is now, the screw you didn't have to be said to me, a big name.
What is the big deal on resizing new brass, if thats too much trouble I can imagine your reloading skills, judging also after reading SMILY CASES,
trying to use them again.

I don't know if this applies to your sight but some where around the last week or so I read about "thermal" problems with some of these electronic sights, under certain conditions your rifle can hit the point of a pin at 100 the sight changes your off by a foot. The company or companies won't talk about this problem.
One of the companies didn't tell our govt about this and when confronted Im not sure what happened.
