You armchair internet lawyers are awesome.
As I stated its just easier for me to take it to my FFL and have him ship it, but YOU CAN SHIP IT YOURSELF provided it is going to an FFL.

You can put it in a usps shipping box and print the label at home. Drop into a drop box and off it goes.. If it were me I would charge the buyer the FFL fee and get them to ship it for me.

Well as a rhetorical question, how long ago were you in your 20s? Could be Hi Point has improved substantially since then. Just about any gun manufacturer has had its down years and the ones that survive get their act together while the others go the way of Dornaus & Dixon.
