Out of a g20,kimber eclipse and my g40 I like to shoot the g40 the best. I carry my kimber every waking moment and love it. But after only a few weeks and about 300 handloads down the 40 i can't wait for rifle season to get here. The gun shoots great out to 50 does seem to have a different feel for recoil. I'm very happy with mine.

Thanks driftwood,  I'm also using a trickler and measuring each load individualy.  My col has been 1.255"  gun seems to like them. I see most people run win primers. That's what my hornady manual calls for as well. I might lower my charge weight a little and work my way back up with them. I also have two boxes of 200 gr xtps to play with.

I got around to loading for my new g40 this weekend. I started at 9.5 and worked my way up to 10.7 hornady max load in my book. I had some case bulge but no other pressure signs and they shot great from a rest at 25 yds. I have been using new starline brass and fed lp primers. I don't have a chronograph hoping to have one in the next week or two. I've looked around and alliant says max charge is 11 grs. Just looking for any info on loads for a stock glock barrel.  I'm trying to work up a load for deer season this year any help would be appreciated.

I got an email today from kkm. They said they are currently testing there g20 barrel in the 40 and they should have an answer shortly.

I emailed then Friday again just to try and clarify. I never got a response back. The email I got originally says it is from the vp of kkm. I would assume he knew what was going on. Is there much difference in quality or accuracy between kkm or lonewolf? Anyone have a prefrence?

I was unaware the rsa was not available yet. I won't be loading as hot as that underwood ammo so I will just run it as is for now. I contacted kkm today about a 6in glock 20 barrel and was informed that barrel wouldn't work in the glock 40 mos. I was told the we're working on a 40 barrel. Anybody have any experience with this?

Hello I'm new here but not new to 10mm's. I have a kimber eclipse and glock 20sf. I found a g 40 mos at my lgs and purchased it yesterday. I ran 2 mags of underwood 180 gr xtp through it last night and loved it. I'm going to start loading for it this week. Does anybody have any idea on where i can get a heavier  recoil spring or if one is needed? I've got several lbs of bluedot and a #9 along with 180 gr xtps. Any help or info on loads would be appreciated. Thanks
