Reloading 10mm ammo / Re: favorite 200 fn lead load

I've had good results with 8.4grns of 800X.

Shot a nice hog with that load

I use the 200gr WFN for back up when I go hog hunting. In a Glock 20 with a KKM barrel. I load them to an O.A.L. of 1.23. Keep in mind that these bullets are shorter in length than other 200gr bullets. The base of the bullet will not be as deep in the case as other bullets.

I've been using 5.1grs of TiteGroup with a 200gr hard cast coated bullet from MBC. It's a good plinking load

Stupid question:

What do you expect these to do (for 66¢ each) that lead JHPs wouldn't do?

Some places you can't use bullets with lead

I use 800x and hard cast bullets a lot. I use a Hornady electronic powder dispenser instead of a powder measure.

Here are some chrono results fired from Glock 40 and 20 both had KKM barrels.

The load tested was a Montana Bullet works 200gr WFN and 8.2grs of 800X

G 40 1159,1214,1157,1186, and 1178

G 20 1151,1141,1137,1144, and 1115

I did not get any signs of pressure I'm going to try 8.4grs next.

Is there any advantage of using these CE 190gr bullets over the 200 gr MBW WFN.

I took the die a part and cleaned it. I could not find anything wrong. I did not find any shavings either.

The lines are not there before resizing. I'll take the die apart and clean it and see if I can find anything.

I used RCBS carbide dies. I've been using those dies or about 8 years. I use the RCBS dies to resize and remove the spent primer then I use a Lee pass through set up

Reloading 10mm ammo / Problem with brass
August 11 2019 02:46:12 PM MDT
I was resizing some brass and I noticed a ridge all the way around the case about  .1" up from the extractor groove. I stopped and measured some cases before I resized them at the same place where ridge was and they measure .432. The cases looked normal till I sized them then it showed up. I'm not  sure what is causing this to happen.

The load was 7.7grs of True Blue 300CCi primer Starline brass and 200gr coated hardcast bullet from Missouri Bullet Comapny.

They were fired from a Glock 40 with a KKM barrel the rest of the gun is stock.  I cleaned the barrel and noticed there was leading in about the last two inches of the barrel. I measured the chamber with a Starrett hole mic and it measure just over .432.
I have two other KKM barrels for a G29 and G20  I measured those barrels they are .430 and .429 respectfully.

Any thoughts on cause of the problem would be of great help.
Here is a pic of one of the cases.

Has anyone tried this combination  G 40 With Lone Wolf Guide Rod?  How was reliability?  What spring weight did you use?

I have always have had good results with Hornady  XTP 180gr and 200gr and IMR 800X.  The best remedy for TX hogs is 200gr WFN hard cast and 800X.
