You gotta admit 926 grains at 2400 fps would be one heck of a bear round.

Yes it would.  It would be painful to shoot as pistol round.

Very cool!  It appeals to my inner gun nerd and I want it.

Mike D: Nice build!

Osprey can?

Perhaps Ron has changed or I caught him during his shop move and he really didn't want to spend the time to go over the details involved.  Either way it doesn't matter at this point as I have a build.

I was pleasantly surprised to see Armscor brass land only a couple of feet behind me.  As a blowback, I was expecting the brass to be launched into low orbit.

I had some FTF issues at its inaugural firing but a little polish to ramp and chamber seems to have corrected
it.

I have finally installed a 16" barrel and compensator from Kaw Valley Precision.

Pictures and range report to follow.

Its been nearly a year long journey.

I too have considered the di option from RMW extreme but I have the upper I want (side charging) and the hand guards I want.  Ron has communicated its an all or nothing system due to proprietary parts.  I am dogmatic about not settling at this point.  Besides, all the reported feed issues are a big turn off.

Political discussion / The Giver
March 22 2016 08:00:46 AM MDT
I had a small epiphany watching "The Giver" last night.

Merl Streep's character (the senior elder of a dystopian community) states: "When people choose for them selves they choose wrong - every time"

It's not hard to imagine Hillary Clinton making the same statement.

So....

Still waiting on QC10 to finish testing the 10mm chambered barrel.

In the mean time, I have an associate working on the feasibility of a hybrid gas piston system.

Why not?

Why put a man on the moon?

Why put a diamond on your bride's finger?

Why were parachute pants in fashion for a decade?

Because its part if the human experience.  It's great you seem to have all the answers.  However, even though you may be right, you are wrong because you're not listening.

There is no difference between the Republican party and the Democrat party. This also goes for the media organizations that support those two groups.

.

Agreed

I'm thinking 12" barrel on my Glock 20 is the way to go for a 10mm Carbine.  ;D :D :o :-\  - OK I'm kidding

Hang in there!!

I can appreciate that!  Especially, with all the issues you are having with the BCG.  I wish I could help but I don't have the knowledge or experience yet.

Any update? ;D

Kinda....

Quarter Circle 10 is still testing the 10mm barrels but plan to have them available after Shot Show 16 (end of January)

Otherwise I have everything for the build.

I went with a heavy Wolff spring and a carbine buffer I can adjust from 12.5oz down to 5oz

The bolt and carrier have been returned too.

Edit: Corrected buffer weight
