It was rally hot. after sleeping on it go with 9.6 just to be on the safe side and not to beat the hell out of my 1911.  these are not loads I'm going to shoot very often if ever. My typical target load is 8.6 under a 180 grain Berrys. My case head  was .424 after shooting 10 grains did not have any punctured primers but they were definitely flat for sure

Anyone have any input ? Mine is 10 grains of 800x under 180 grain xtp new starline brass Winchester large pistol primer 1.252 OAL 1394 fps low 1414 high kimber custom TLE 5" 26# main spring 20# recoil spring. lots of fun to shoot turns milk jugs into confetti 

I just got back from the range I have a kimber custom tle 10mm 26# main spring 20# recoil spring. I absolutely love 800x. I had been feeding it a steady diet of power pistol and blue dot. About a month ago I started testing with 800x. I started at 9.4 grains now I settled on 10 grains of 800x under A 180 grain xtp at 1.252 OAL new starline brass with Winchester large pistol primer. This load produced 1386 low and 1414 high with no pressure signs whatsoever.

So I bought a kimber tle custom 2 and I wan to replace all the MIM parts in it. I went on wilson combat and Ed Browns sight and didn't find any 10mm specific parts. Hammer, trigger sear, hammer strut, disconnector, ejector,extractor and barrel but that will come later. Can you use 45 parts or or does it have to be for a 10mm ?

Thanks a lot mike!!!  I appreciate the detailed information it really helped I ordered a 20 pound recoil spring I think that should be sufficient I don't plan to shoot the gun a whole lot just enough to be efficient with it. it's more for Woods protection than anything. I shoot the crap out of my Glock 20 though  I've had my Glock for  years but I have small hands and I could never get over the grip size then somebody told me to do a grip reduction but I needed a good excuse to get a new 1911 anyways

Hey guys just purchased a Kimber custom two TLE 10 mm was wondering if anybody knew what the recoil spring poundage on a stock Kimber was and what poundage I should use for underwood type hot loads?  Someone told me 22 to 23 pounds but I figure it's always good to get a second opinion thank you.
