What are the blue dot quirks? I've used it to load 38 special without incident.

February 8 NJ is having a huge rally at the state house. The New Jersey Second Amendment Society is putting it together. Governor Christie said he would speak. More info is available at www.nj2as.com

As crazy as it may sound, I say bad or experimental drugs.

General Discussion / Anybody into cannons?

Jersey is rough. We have the NJ Second Amendment Society that's working hard to get rid of the feel good BS laws we have to protect the criminals. Hopefully soon things will get easier for us!

Turo, that is a beautiful piece!

Too bad I'm in NJ, land of the commie gun rules. I can't buy an M1 Carbine legally, let alone a cannon.

Cannons fall under diferent rules, you should check it out in your area. They are considered replicas in my area.

I'm pretty sure it's a no no. NJ does not recognize C&R or replicas. BB guns are considered firearms here and you need a permit to buy. Same goes for black powder kit guns and such that can be bought off the shelf in our neighboring states. On top of that, a big majority of our towns have no discharge ordinances so unless you go to a range, you can't even shoot on your own property!

10mm semi-auto handguns / G20SF Guide Rod/Spring

I was leaning towards the LW captive stainless. Is a 22lb spring good for 9x25 dillon, .40, and 357 rounds too?

10mm semi-auto handguns / G20SF Guide Rod/Spring

I'm looking to change out the plastic guide rod in my G20SF. I also want to go up to a 22lb spring. What seems to work better, stainless steel, steel, or tungsten? I'm keeping the stock Glock barrel for now, but planning on buying a Lone Wolf barrel in the future. Hoping to not have to buy an additional spring/rod when I do the barrel swap.

Handguns / Revolver cleaning
June 29 2012 04:55:44 PM MDT
I usually clean after each range trip. I average 100 rounds per pistol when I go. Just picked up a Hordady Magnumsonic cleaner and cleaned my GP100 in it for the first time today. I did strip it down so it makes reoiling easier. Normally, I only clean the bore and wipe down everything else. About every 500 or so rounds I take it apart for the more detailed cleaning.

Factory 10mm ammo / 10mm Factory Ammo Master Sheet

Great info! Has anyone tried Blaser 200gr aluminum cased ammo? Picked up my G20SF today, and that's the only 10mm ammo my dealer had. Not going to get a chance to try it out till the weekend to see for myself.
