Thanks, that is the same thing I just added to my original post from the Alliant Powder Reload Recipes page.  180gr Speer GDHP, 1.25OAL, CCI300, 8 grains of Unique, 1,138fps.  That matches the page you posted so I am still at .20 below these two :)

Hi Guys - I've been reloading 180 JHP with 6.2 grains of 800X for a nice plinking load at the range.  What I hate is the 800X will not measure accurately through my UniFlow powder drop, so I trickle every round on my beam scale.  I just set up a new Dillon 550 to increase my output for my 9, 45 and my 10.  I'm using Unique in the 45 and it measures perfectly through both my RCBS UniFlow and the Dillon powder drop.  Want to switch away from the 800X to Unique for my 10 as well.  I am finding huge differences in the manuals for start and max loads.  Lyman has a 5.8 > 6.7 range, Hornaday shows 5.8 > 7.1........, the Alliant site shows 8.0 at 1,138 fps.    Some of the Google searches I've done show guys going using up to 8.5 in one instance.  Last night I loaded up 50 rounds, CCI 300's, 180JHP's and Unique starting at 7.0, and each 10 rounds I went up 0.2 grains until I maxed out at 7.8.  Shooting in a standard Gen3 Glock 20.  Do any of you guys have any concerns with what I've loaded up?  Thanks and hope your all having a Great 4th of July !!

Hello Everyone - My real name is Gregg.  Born and raised in Wyoming, as well as my wife.  Followed in my Dad's footprints and worked in the oil fields most of my adult life as a Pipeliner (and yes, I am proud of it).  Currently live in Colorado and have recently retired after almost 40 years with the same Company.  Have been shooting and hunting (camping, fishing, hiking, climbing, etc etc) my whole life.  I have been reloading since I almost started shooting, first so I could afford it in the earlier years, and then kept at it due to the fun of the accuracy.  I did not have the opportunity to serve in the Armed Forces as many of you did, but Thank You All who did or are.  I had a 'draft card', but they quit the draft for Nam in 72 and I graduated in 73.  I shoot just about every caliber of long gun and have a few AR's.  I really like my pistols though, and my 10mm Glocks are about my favorite.  Hope to learn a few more things from my fellow 10mm lovers.  Thanks
