I am looking forward to this design. It speaks to me "progress"in gun design.  I look forward to what this company will offer in the future as well.

Thanks everyone, people always talk about how big and heavy it is, and while it is big and heavy it isnt all that bad.  It feels similar to the large old glock grips on the glock 20. but weighs 3.5 times as much.  Recoil with the 50 AE was very enjoyable and feels pleasant.

10mm semi-auto handguns / SW 1066 at local Gun shop.

I was browsing a local gun dealers website and saw that they had a used  SW 1066  for $625. The picture isnt uploaded yet. So I have no Idea of condition. Thoughts? Good Deal? how does this model stand collectability wise compared to other 10xx series

i tested my 29 with a  chronograph with ported barrel from lone wolf and with stock barrel. The ported did see a slight increase in velocity over the  stock, I want to say it was like 30 fps or so.

It wont work. I have tried it before and the barrel lugs geometry are just different enough where they just wont work. Probably would have better luck cutting down the frame of the 20 to the grip length of the 29. if you are looking for that option. Some gunsmiths offer this service.

General Discussion / Re: comp vrs proting vrs 6" barrel

I run a ported lone wolf barrel on my Glock 29, and have been tossing around the idea of a comp for my glock 40. But one thing to note at lease in glock world, is that ported barrels retain the same ease of disassembly procedure. Compensated rigs often have a set screw or just threaded on with loctite to make them stay in place and require removal to completely take down the pistol. 1911's mostly negate this because how barrel is removed is different, but not always. There are a lot of proprietary bushing systems in 1911.

I am interested in one, but my local dealer only has them listed at the 1300 msrp..... :o   maybe he will flex a bit or I will have better luck at gun show or online.

Its to bad a company like magnum research didnt take the helm on this. They would have got this project done.  They have no problem putting out tiger stripped gold desert eagles or rebadging jericho pistol to turn a profit, not to mention have a little bit more in the way of financial backing. Not saying magnum research would be perfect match but more so than alot of other manufacturers, cant see ruger or smith and wesson, doing anything like this.

Dont know how detailed this list will become, but In my searching I have found  the Nobilta-TWM Nobile 10mm auto.

Not sure of current production, obviously not a US distributed pistol, but an interesting piece none the less.
Kind of ugly as well. Im not surprised it never made it state side.

I about lost it on the pocket model. I need one., Thats got pretty attractive specs even by todays standards

To my knowledge, none were ever made.

Still doesnt mean I dont need one lol. If that got brought back, id buy two.  Its sad the D&D went out so quick, I wonder what they could have came out with if given another 30 years of business. I would bet a poly framed bren ten wouldnt have been to far on the horizon given the market trends from the late 90s onward.
