I have the first G20, bought right after produced. Solid pistol! But I much prefer a 1911 frame pistol chambered for the powerful 10MM. SO, not to change this thread, but I would recommend the Kimber Ultra and ask if any others find it to be superior..?

My name is Bob and I absolutely love the 10MM. I was 'raised' so to speak on the venerable 1911 from my Army days and that has been my weapon of choice, until owning a SIG P 229 in .357 SIG and now the Kimber Ultra in 10. I would like to hear more about the best SD ammo for that gun...

I use GA Arms 180 FMJ for range ammo in my new Kimber and an old G20 (Gen 1?). I am seeking advice to stock up on SD ammo for both pistols. Recommendations??
