Ryushin, I can atest to pressures getting up there, I push a little too hard on my 380 with brass that was less than ideal and had a casing failure in my Ruger LCP. http://10mm-firearms.com/range-reports/380acp-blown-up!/
There were several factors that led up to this failure;
1st) I push too hot a load to start with using a heavy cast HP 128 grain.
2nd) I was using range brass one was PPC the other was MFS which was the one that blew out. It has a different style base inside.
Good read. I was planning on using unfired starline brass for self defense handloads. I have some autocomp so maybe I should order some bullets and work up a load. Still, it would be nice to see what Underwood is using as a baseline.
