Gunbroker & Armslist are options, I suppose. I've never sold or bought on either of them... Selling this G29 hasn't been too much of a priority, I seem to forget about it until the next time I rummage through the safe. But, it would definitely be in better hands with someone else who would actually shoot & enjoy it.

The handgun is still for sale, same condition as posted above. One thing I forgot, there is a Hyve Industries magazine extension also included, that has NOT been installed on a magazine yet. It does NOT increase capacity, just length to give your pinky a place to rest.

Ha, I've read that old thread a few times. When I asked Barsto I specifically asked about a threaded barrel because I'd reading your posts. I'd get a comp on it to help mitigate that potential issue. BUT I have been eyeing the Stock III. I desperately miss having a 10mm!!!

Wanting to bump this thread up as I'm getting ready to jump on a Stock-III 10mm for myself...

With 2+ years of owning/usage, do you (or anyone else) have anymore thoughts, issues, complaints, things you've changed, want to change, etc. about your Stock-III 10mm?

Any more advice on required upgrades to make the gun run 100% reliable over the stock configuration? Guide rod, extended firing pin, recoil spring, etc...

The guys at CGW advised me to NOT use that kind of power level in the CZ97b. This was a few years ago, and at the time I was inquiring about running 45-Super in the gun, since there was/is no 10mm conversion. It was suggested to stick to .45acp+p or less...

Is anyone running something other than the OEM striker spring on the G29 or G20? Pros/Cons?? Reasons/Results???

I see that Wolff offers 4,4.5,5,5.5 (OEM weight), & 6lb springs...

Ghost Inc. offers 4,6, & 6.5lb springs, and they recommend either the 6 or 6.5lb for use in the .45acp/10mm firearms...

--I have changed striker springs around in my 9mm Glocks, but haven't done anything to the 10mm's yet. I was thinking either to leave the OEM in there or step up to the 6/6.5lb spring. Thoughts?

I put a KKM 6" in my Gen.4 G20 before the 1st round was ever fired through the firearm. It's been flawless & accurate out to 75-yards through 300-rounds of various ammunition powers. I have no experience vs. the LW or any other barrel...

Only approx. 250-rounds fired so far, all of them with the KKM barrel. So far, so good... The slide movement is rather aggressive with the Underwood 135gr. 1600fps, and I would like to slow it down some with that particular round. With the Georgia Arms 180gr. FMJ and the Underwood 180gr. XTP's it isn't as bad. FWIW, I didn't know that there was a different offering for the RSA of the Gen.4's??
