My wife told me not to buy anything else until we get a house. SO its tough as 10mm isn't cheap, but I mainly use the 10 as my hunting platform but I feel the need to practice and without rds it sucks. Being a college student sucks too but I'm almost done and once I start working more life will get a smidge easier. At this point I buy what I can when I can and shoot 9mm and 5.56 till i get the wife her house .......then the real work begins lol.

Range reports / Re: First day with a Glock 20

Outstanding review. I have some Underwood that I'm saving for hunting purposes, and when I read reviews I feel confident in my own G20 that it will "hopefully" perform the same!

I wouldn't us any hollow points on hogs if your going for a chest shot.  A .17 will drop them if you shoot them in the head. I've found bullets right under the skin a few times. That's why I don't like using buck shot ether. A good size hog can be a real bad ass. I just got some DoubleTap 235gr. that should do the trick. lol A 200xtp will drop a deer but I like a chunk of lead for hogs. I'm going hog hunting tomorrow if I get one I'll post the hole & the hog.lol
This is good to know as I just bought some 180gr Underwood XTP's........lol. I may have to fire twice as I only have a stock Glock barrel currently. Curious to see the results.

So made it to the range today! Had some weak Hornady defense rounds and they are the first target at 7 yards. The gun is more accurate than I, and it feels rather nice to shoot as well!!! Love the gun it's awesome. The next target is at 15 yards where grip or lack there of came into play. All over the place initially, and that vexed me. So I slowed down rested on the bench and got better. Second to last shot was bullseye at 15 yards. I was useing the warm 180 gr Hornady Custom XTP rounds, and when I shot those I knew I was holding a 10mm!!! I need practice and more practice, and this gun will serve me well!!!!!

Well I didn't make it to the range :-[. My 5 year old wanted to shoot his bow so I did what a dad must and took him to the range and he did well!!!
