Despite the fact that I have (what I consider to be a decent, and others may consider a bit excessive) collection
of firearms amassed while I was in the military and expanded when I became a deskjockey civilian, with handgun
calibers ranging from .22s to 45/70 government, one I hadn't owned was 10mm.
I have Kahr, H&K, Ruger, Taurus, S&W, Kimber and a myriad of other manufacturer's handguns, but not one Glock among
them.
I very recently made an impulse buy of a new Glock 20, in 10mm. Hence the 2 firsts in the subject. While I was poking
around the web looking for info before I go to the range (break-in duration, recommended ammo for initial firing, warnings,
etc), I saw a few mentions of this site. As a result, Im here as a new member. I guess that makes it actually 3 firsts..
At any rate, I'll browse some articles and if I don't find what I need, I'll post a question. I don't see any reason to
waste time posting questions that have already been asked/answered so if I do need to post, hopefully the other
members will bear with me if my question(s) may seem to be posed by someone with a single-digit IQ. Due to my
work schedule, I'm usually sleep deprived, and while it may seem like blasphemy, caffeine can only go so far.
