Factory 10mm ammo / Re: Black Talon 10mm

From my understanding, that box is not the original Black Talons, but the SXT's that came out after all the hype about them being able to penetrate vests.  However, I have also read that the SXT, in no certain terms, meant Same eXact Thing (as the original Black Talons).

Thank you all for the warm welcome.  I went and purchased a box of 180gr TMJ and 180gr JHP from Underwood yesterday.  Also, my kids happen to be at the new Bass Pro in Melbourne, FL, so they picked me up a box of Remington 180gr UMC's.  Can't wait to get them all together and try them out.  The gentleman at Underwood asked me not to fire all the Remington's until I got the Underwood's in so I can do a fair comparison, as he would love to know what I think.  Now that tells me that this company welcomes a challenge and is not afraid to put there ammo up against the competition.  I'll be sure to post my results in the ammo section.

First off, I'd like to thank you all for having me.  My name is Larry and I live in FL (transplant from Los Angeles), just outside of Daytona Beach.  I've shot many a Glock in my time, but finally was able to pick up a NIB Gen 3 G20 at a pretty good price.  Always wanted one and finally I have it.  It will primarily be my hunting sidearm as well as home defense.  For CC, I have a snubnose .38 that fits just right.

I have been scouring around for the best deal on good ammo and have pretty much narrowed my sights on Underwood ammo for quality and price.  My only concern is that purchasing rounds for range shooting will get quite costly, so I will probably look into reloading for that purpose.  I'll ask any questions regarding reloading in the proper area.

Thanks again and looking forward to asking many questions.
