General Discussion / Re: Help me pick my next 45acp..

My first and only recommendation would be an all stainless Dan Wesson. The fit and finish are second to none.

For sale / WTS Silver Henning grips for LG Frame Stock II
November 21 2014 06:31:37 PM MST
I recently purchased a set of Hennings Silver anodized aluminum checkered grips to fit a Witness Stock II. They fit and look great not to mention being a vast improvement over the too thick factory wood grips. But due to my hand shape, I still needed a slimmer set of grips where the web of my hand grasps the gun. Fortunately EG grips filled the bill for me. I prefer Henning grips profile and appearance but they just aren't for me.

If anyone has a need for a pair or knows of anyone looking for a set, let me know. $100 Postal MO only. I'll ship the grips by priority mail.

Whether human or Zombie, I would prefer that my opponent be a little further away.

Gunsmithing / Re: New panels on the Limited 10

Perfection! Except for my forgetting to post a couple pics when the grips arrived yesterday morning.

These grips are narrower right where I needed them to be, the Henning's are a little too thick for the web of my right hand. Now I'm able to operate the thumb safety and mag release without shifting my firing grip to do so.

I also had to adjust the screen color on my computer, these grips are definitely red, my monitor made them look to be an orangish red.

This was my first order from Ben Stoegers Shop and it won't be my last. I placed my order on their site and less than 5 minutes later I received an email stating my order had been shipped.

Will do. I suppose that I should get another 10mm for the silver set of Henning grips that I have, you can't let things like that go to waste.   ;D

I couldn't resist, now that these grips are available at a couple places, I ordered a red set first thing this morning and they've already been shipped.  8)

They fit my left hand perfectly. But being right handed I could use a grip that's slightly thinner at the top rear, in between my right thumb and forefinger.

They do. On the thin scale, these are it!

You wouldn't have a pic showing a forward view, from the rear would you? I'm trying to get an idea just how thin those grips are from side to side. Nice looking set you have there, to be sure.

Thanks! I'll put this site to good use.

For sale / Re: Stock II for $690

It's interesting to compare his start / reserve prices from way back. The problem with this auction is what he puts in his descriptions. I gave up on this item and the sellers inconsistencies some time ago.
