I already got mine about a week and a half ago from Shooters Connection. But I notice I cant find a single post anywhere of anyone else getting theirs so I suspect I got lucky? Fit and finish seem really very good. Not sure I like the slim grips though but we will see when I actually get to the range with it.

    Sweet!! Any range report?

Anybody have info on when they will ship to stores? Dawson Precision doesn't even have the Nitro listed yet. Not that they are the precursor for things to come....but, just curious.

I apologize for being late on all y'alls replies. Too many posts on too many sites!! Got to trim down. Thank you for the replies. Good to know. I have put an uncaptured in a G-35 for competition. But I like the idea from factory. Maybe it should be a choice, even with today's Glock's.

One of my favorites. HBO is leading the way. True Detectives and Game of Throne's! Best on t.v.

Nice!

Ya, I have to concur. Assuming it functions with all mags,  there can be justification to up to $1200. A lot of money can go into 10 mags of this sort. And the Caspian slide with an Infinity made barrel is a nice touch, to be sure. Still, I would much rather put that kind of money toward a new STI Nitro 10, and call it good.

I just saw this on gunbroker. And I am not really sure this is the right category for this....if not, my apologies, and please move it. But this has the makings of a great gun. I personally have owned a Para P-12 sometime back, but just couldn't get used to the back strap grip being so short. Just thought I would share it in case someone is looking for something different.

Texan checking in here. Finally took the plunge into the 10mm world with a RIA 1911 and some reloading gear to go with it, now I am just waiting for for my starline brass to come on the brown truck.

I decied to get into 10mm because I was looking for a sidearm while hunting day and night at the lease, and would be a nice complement to my AR-15 chambered in 6.8 as my hunting rigs. I prefer the 1911 since I shoot them better than any other sidearm that I own. Looking forward to joining the fray and leaning some tricks when loading for the 10mm.

Here is a pic of what I have found local, only thing I had to order was the starline brass. In the meantime I have some cheap PPU loaded ammo, because I hate having a gun with no ammo.

Hey Wassman68, How do you like your Rock Island? I am currently saving my nickels for a new STI Nitro 10. But think these RIA's look pretty sharp. I also reload. A must for 10mm fanatics. Have you shot the RIA yet? Thanks for your time!

Well, I found some pics of my one of....if not my most regrettable sale/trade.
Remington's release of the U.S.M.C. M40. Maybe it's not going to be Remington's most collectable rifle....but I sure wish I ain't oughta got rid of that one!! It is a beautiful rifle!! Ya....I had the box and papers!!! Arrrggghhh!!

I did not know that. An innovator, to be sure!

Hey all,
I bought a G-20 gen2 the other day. Field stripped and gave it a quick clean. Funny thing happened as I remove the recoil spring assembly. It has an uncaptured "plastic" rod. Spring seemed as "normal." Please be gentle as my gen 2 knowledge is in the junior status, did the gen 2 G-20 come in captured? The rod looks like the aftermarket stainless rods.....but I wasn't even aware they made a plastic uncaptured rod. I looked at glockmeister real quick and saw no plastic rods offered. Ironic, as I have a habit of replacing the plastic captured outfits with uncaptured stainless ones soon after purchase of the pistol. Thanks....

What guns would you like to see chambered in 10mm? It could be revolvers, semi auto's, rifles, subguns, etc..

Me? I would like to see an H&K USP in 10mm (H&K really dropped the ball with that one).

I would like to see Springfield bring the Omega back.

I would like to see a beefed up Browning High Power in 10mm.

What ideas do you guys have?  8)

+1 on the Omega! Took a nice whitetail with one back in the 90's. Sold it, of course! I would be happy to lay out $1200 for a new Omega!!!!

I got the idea and info from the S&W forum, this is something that was done a few years ago by a member there, his screen name is Bad_Man_One, I'm sure some of you know who he is.
I have a S&W CS40 that I had the barrel reamed to 10mm. I sent the barrel to the gentleman Shadow recommended and I'm pleased with the work. The cost, workmanship and turnaround time were all excellent.
I drilled out the spot welds on the magi to remove the spacer so the 10mm rounds would fit and I installed a 10mm follower.
I have about 50 rounds through it with zero issues, it shoots and handles great. I have not put any hot ammo like Underwood through it because I'm still looking for a heavier recoil spring.

        I want one!  8)

Here's a few in 10mm:

Kimber Target II [top], Gold Match II in .45ACP [bottom]:

Dan Wesson Razorback with Code Z grips:

Zephyr, that Razorback is on my short list. I really like the plain jane type sexy of the Razor, and surjimmy's custom. Sometimes, not so much, is just enough. Great looking guns, man!!  :P  8)
